Explore your interests, meet new people, and get involved in the campus and community. You can do all of this and more when you participate in the Daemen clubs and organizations.
My name is Michael Paglicci and I am the Assistant Director of Student Activities.
Being in student activities, I oversee our campus programming board, as well as some of our larger scale programs like Homecoming and Spring Fest, as well as Welcome Week and working with the directors in activities, we also help with clubs and student organizations, Greek Life on campus.
You name it, we kinda do it.
There’s actually two locations you can find us.
The Director of Student Activities is downstairs in the Wildcat Den and then I’m upstairs in the Student Affairs Suite.
We impact students in a number of ways, the biggest one being we give you something to do on the weekends.
We have programs that happen just about every single weekend that you’re on campus.
We also have over 50 clubs and organizations on campus, so you’re bound to find something that you really enjoy.
If you have an idea for a club that you don’t see, we can make it happen.
We’re always listening for the next best idea for an event.
So if you have it, bring it to us.
We’re always there to listen and we’re always there to just make the student life on campus just that much better.
It’s a lot of fun and I think that’s the biggest way that we impact our students is there’s plenty of ways to get involved on this campus.
And whether that’s you join a club or whether you come by an event every now and then or grab a donut that’s in the RIC, there’s always something for you to do.
